Hi! I'm Jessy. I'm a twenty-something living in Charlotte, NC, transplanted from Richmond, VA, by way of Greenville, SC. When I first graduated college, my mom suggested that I start a blog. I'd written for two publications in college and she said she was going to miss reading my writing. So I tried several different formats. I had a blog designed for long, though-provoking articles in which I shared my feelings on my mom's illness, my trials and tribulations with dating in Richmond, and my general musings on a variety of topics. But once I moved to South Carolina, it felt too much like a diary of adventures, personal but not necessarily interesting to others. I also tried a story blog, on which I co-authored a story with two other writers. However, we all got busy and moved on and the story took a back seat. A couple months ago, a few friends suggested I start a fashion blog after helping them overhaul their closets. But I didn't want to be constrained by a single topic. So here we are! I hope this blog will share a little bit of everything, from fashion to recipes, lifestyle to thought starters, DIY to diary entries. Enjoy!
